Our Goals:



    1. To be instrumental in working with the SC State Legislators and the SC Deptartment of Consumer Affairs in the development of South Carolina repossession laws which will regulate repossession activity in South Carolina.

    2. To create and maintain a working relationship with the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs.

    3. To promote and enhance the image of the collateral recovery industry in South Carolina among financial institutions.

    4. To enhance the image and acceptance by law enforcement agencies of the collateral recovery industry.

    5. To assist in the education of the members, licenses, law enforcement and lenders in regards to industry, insurance and risk management issues.

    6. To work towards the elimination of un-licensed, unprofessional and/or under insured collateral recovery practices in the state of South Carolina.

    7. To help promote the collateral recovery industry through networking of resources and contacts.

    8. To hold various functions where vendors, members of the financial and law enforcement community will be encouraged to participate.

    9. To have continued growth of association resources and funds.


    CODE OF ETHICS:

    1. To strive, through education and fellowship, to improve the understanding of the repossession industry by the financial lending community we serve.
    2. To improve our industry’s relationship with all governing bodies and law enforcement agencies.
    3. To encourage each SC Agent to join the SC-Carolina Association of  Recovery Specialists and become involved in the association’s goals and functions.
    4. To work with each other to improve the spirit of cooperation and level of education for the betterment of the repossession industry.
    5. To conduct business in a professional and courteous manner. To promote business with integrity and a proper respect for our fellow repossessors and clients.
